wow, how cool!! i wish xenforo and every forum has this feature, it would definitely bring in more traffic,
i spend more time on my mobile than desktop but since there is no notifications for most forums, i dont visit them often on my mobile as i would like it,

here is the end result using a samsung note 2

too bad pushover only has 50 thousands downloads, now convincing forum members to download this might be tricky, i was hesitant at first to download and see what it does

but im going to keep it,

but so sad this is the only forum i know that uses pushover
    definitely more forums need this

You can't demo this, but the Xen Pushover add-on can scrape XenForo.com for alerts on that forum:

I've been testing and the notifications arrive very fast. is a really great service.
Regarding the price of the app, really worth. it can be used with a lot of other services. Pushover: Applications and Plugins

I'm confused, i don't see any options in my pushover mobile account to scrape the alerts from xenforo.com towards my mobile

    You wouldn't...

It's a feature of the add on and you would set it up in the Admin CP as per my screenshot which is from the Admin CP here.

    im still confused,

    you mean,

if i buy this add-on, i install it, then users will be able to recieve my forum's alert to their mobile

    and... as well

i can configure it to scrape not only my forum but xenforo's forum alerts ,

all they do is sign into their xenforo account from my forum and volia, they will have both my forum's alert and xenforo's alerts to their mobile,

and i can do that for any other xenforo based forum?

It's an Admin only feature. Set up in the Admin CP. It only works for XenForo.com.

oh i see, but no one in my forum is a member of xenforo.com , only me

    oh well,

can we purchase this add-on by skrill? or only paypal

That's the entire point. It's a useful tool for admins who visit the XF.com community to get alerts, resource updates, etc. pushed to their phones. It doesn't work if you have 2FA enabled, though (and never will, due to the way 2FA is designed).

Only PayPal via the link at the Resource at XF.com.

oh i see, i get it now, i dont use 2fa, its too hard to remember passwords

oh no!! i have money in my skrill but not paypal, now i am sad!!

ok sir!! i have to wait until my mother give me another giftcard for paypal, then i can buy it!!

    tank you sir!!

it seems not possible to receive alerts to my 2 accounts on this forum

    example:
    Code:
    username in forum: joey
    email in forum: joey@hotmail.com
subscribed to pushover in settings - email: joey_smith@hotmail.com

    username in forum: apple
    email in forum: apple@hotmail.com
subscribed to pushover in settings - email: joey_smith@hotmail.com

i wanted to do this, because in real life use my admin account and 4 other username for other purposes

and i know my users have multiple accounts because i let them

.so it would be useful if i could recieve all my alerts from my 4 different accounts to my pushover account, i guess this is because pushover only allows 1 account per website

    -added-

    i was hoping this

I'll look into that tomorrow but there are likely technical reasons why it won't work.
